A very cool, vintage, hinged bangle bracelet, modeled in 14k yellow and white gold, with a unique, soft, rectangular profile. This shapely bangle's yellow gold face is decorated with a series of nine white gold squares— each of these square seats holds avibrant, faceted, bead-set emerald, and each isfinished with fine milgrain edges. This bangle is part of the retro,1980s-does-1940s design movement. We loveit for its unusual shape, simple elegance, and color-blocking aesthetic.It lends interesting dimensionto a stack of bracelets, and it is an easy-going piece, on its own. This bangle was made in Hungary, and it is fully hallmarked. Closure is a hidden tension clasp with a safety catch. Hinge and clasp are tight and functioning admirably.
